Meet the Team



Craig Macdonald
Managing Director - BBS.

Craig has over 17 years experience in workplace health and safety. Before establishing All About People in 2003, he was Regional Health and Safety Advisor for New Zealand Post in Auckland and Northland; previous to this he was National Quality and Health and Safety Manager for Tyco New Zealand. During this time Craig obtained his Bachelor of Business Studies Degree.

Craig grew up in Central Otago where he managed the family farm and he brings that practicality and experience to the work he does with clients. In recent years he has continued with his professional development in a number of areas pertaining to health and safety in New Zealand including new ACC guidelines, conferences and working parties and he is a Senior Fire Fighter and First Aider. He enjoys golf, coaching junior rugby and time with his family. He is also actively involved in the community as a Volunteer Fire Fighter. Craig also makes the best coffee in the office.



Michelle Macdonald
General Manager - BA, Dip.Tchg.

Michelle joined the business in 2007 to work with the team to deliver high levels of customer service and to help answer enquiries from clients. She was a Secondary Teacher, teaching Geography and Social Studies . She has managerial experience in several large organisations and was instrumental in developing and implementing a scheme to develop youth transition to work programmes. Formerly she has worked in a variety of sectors within the Tourism and Travel industries both in New Zealand and overseas. She has also worked as a Business Development Trainer in the corporate sector.

Michelle strongly believes health and safety comes down to the fundamentals of preventing injury or death in the workplace, and along with the rest of the team at All About People is passionate about working with clients to achieve industry best practice. Michelle has three children and enjoys cooking, pilates, swimming, the beach, reading and travel.


Pauline Southwick
Finance Administrator

Pauline is a highly experienced business person who has owned her own businesses and was formerly a key administrator of a successful accounting practice. She works behind the scenes to deliver all financial systems for All About People. She makes great shortbread and keeps our financial systems well organised through our fantastic online accounting package, Xero. Pauline enjoys walking, the occasional game of golf, watching sports and quilting.
